I am Lisa Renee - Artist, Instructor and founder of Nia Abstract Art and Booze & Brushes Paint Parties. My passion for painting first began with a vision I received, that I would become the owner of a Sip & Paint franchise.  The problem with that vision was I had no artistic talent (so I thought)so I became quickly discouraged, but with the encouragement from my cousin (Hozay)  - who basically told me "If you want it bad enough, learn how to paint my d**n self"... So I did just that.... with the help of online videos, sketching ideas out and experimenting with textures & colors, after 10 months I painted my first painting named "Storm" October 2017... I can now say I am a God-Taught-Artist .  "Storm" was the seed that keeps producing my vision every time the colors in me get on the tip of a brush and canvas.     After 1 year, I was proud to launch my Nia Abstract Art Collection , Poetry & Paint , Work-n-Paint Therapy Workshops and now Nia  Booze & Brushes Paint Parties to the African Diaspora & Cultural Arts Community.
